Kiana and the Ting-Ting Bell

Kids stories

Kiana loses her little bell in the Enchanted Forest. With clever Fox, kind Flower, and loyal Plush, she follows drip-drip sounds to a crystal pond and finds a golden bell with a surprise: it can clear fog and open a treasure box.
Kiana and the Ting-Ting Bell

Kiana is a girl in the Enchanted Forest. She is small. She is brave, but a little shy.

Today, Kiana pats her pocket. “Oh,” she whispers. “My little bell is gone.”

Fox pops out from behind a fern. Fox is quick and clever. His tail swishes like a brush.
“Ding-ding bell?” Fox asks.
Kiana nods. “Lost.”

Plush sits in Kiana’s arms. Plush is her soft toy. Plush is quiet, but very loyal. Plush has button eyes and a warm hug.
Plush goes, “Mmm,” like he is thinking.

A Flower grows near the path. Flower can talk in a tiny voice. Flower is gentle and kind.
“Hello, Kiana,” says Flower. “Do not worry. We can look together.”

They walk on the squishy moss. The trees sway. Little lights blink in the leaves.
Kiana listens. “Do you hear my bell?”
Fox lifts one ear. “Not yet. But I hear… drip-drip.”

They follow the drip-drip to a small crystal pond. The water is clear. Kiana sees her toes.
Kiana leans close. “Bell?”
Plush points with his soft paw. “There!”

In the pond, something shiny sleeps under a pebble.
Kiana feels scared for a tiny moment. The water looks cold.
Flower hums, “You are brave. One small step.”

Kiana takes a stick. Fox holds the stick with his paw too.
“One, two,” says Kiana.
“Three,” says Fox.
They lift the pebble together.

A golden bell floats up. It goes “ting!”
Kiana giggles. “My bell!”
She reaches, but it slips away like a little fish.

Fox laughs. “Fast bell!”
Plush says, “Catch.”
Flower says, “Slow hands. Gentle hands.”

Kiana cups her hands. She waits. She is patient.
The bell drifts back. “Ting… ting…” like it is calling her.
Kiana scoops it softly. She holds it tight.

“Thank you,” Kiana says to the pond.
The pond sparkles, like it is happy.

On the way back, a foggy part of the forest looks dark.
Kiana squeezes Plush.
Fox steps close. “We stay together,” he says.
Flower glows a little brighter. “Follow me,” says Flower.

They walk, step-step-step.
Kiana rings the bell once. “Ting!”
The sound makes the fog move aside, like a curtain.

Kiana’s eyes go wide. “My bell can help!”
Fox bows. “Magic bell, magic girl.”
Kiana blushes, but she smiles.

Under a big old tree, they find a small wooden box with a leaf key.
Plush taps it.
Kiana uses her bell. “Ting!”
Click!

Inside are three shiny forest stickers: a fox, a flower, and a teddy.
“And a tiny jar of sweet berry drops,” says Fox, sniffing.
Kiana claps. “Treasure!”

They share one berry drop each.
Flower says, “Mmm, thank you.”
Plush hugs tighter.

Kiana puts the stickers on her little bag.
“I found my bell,” she says. “And I found brave patience.”
Fox grins. “And snacks.”
Kiana laughs all the way home, bell going “ting, ting, ting.”
