William Star Shine and the Color Core

William Star Shine is a superhero. He is kind. He is brave. He is small, but he shines.

Today he walks into the Elemental Atrium. It is a big round room. One side feels warm. One side feels cool. One side smells like rain. One side whispers like wind.

“Hello, Atrium,” William says.

A splashy voice answers. “Hello!”

A Water Nymph pops up from a clear pool. She is playful and quick. Her hair looks like little waves.

“Look!” she giggles. “The colors are gone!”

William looks. The blue tiles are gray. The red banners are pale. Even the green vines look sleepy.

From above, a bright figure floats down. A Galactic Emissary. They wear a soft star cloak. Their eyes are calm.

“I bring a message,” says the Emissary. “A beam of sunlight fell the wrong way. The Atrium lost its colors. We must restore them.”

William nods. “We will restore colors.”

Clank, clank.

A tall knight steps in. His armor glows like noon. He is the Sun Knight.

“No colors!” he booms. “Too messy. Too loud. Only plain light!”

The Water Nymph sticks out her tongue. “Boring!”

William speaks gently. “Colors help everyone feel happy. We can be careful.”

Sun Knight crosses his arms. “Prove it.”

In the middle of the Atrium sits a little box. It is dull and dusty. The Emissary points.

“The Color Core is inside. But it needs three tiny drops: water, wind, and warm light. Then it will open.”

William kneels. “Okay. Teamwork time.”

Water Nymph swirls in her pool. “One drop of water!” She flicks a clear drop into William’s hand. It wiggles like a jelly bead.

The Emissary lifts their cloak. “One kiss of wind.” They blow softly. A tiny breeze makes the bead sparkle.

William looks at Sun Knight. “Can you help? Just a gentle warm light.”

Sun Knight frowns. “Gentle?”

William smiles. “Like a hug. Not like a blast.”

Sun Knight’s shoulders lower. “I can try.”

He taps his chest plate. A small sun-glow appears, soft and round. It warms William’s hand.

The bead turns rainbow.

“Whoa!” says the Water Nymph.

William drops the rainbow bead onto the box. Click.

The box opens with a tiny pop. Inside is a little star-shaped prism. It is beautiful.

William lifts it. “Color Core!”

The Atrium drinks in the light. Blue returns to the tiles. Red dances on the banners. Green wakes up on the vines.

The Sun Knight blinks. The colors shine on his armor too.

“It is… nice,” he admits.

Water Nymph claps splashes. “Nice? It’s AMAZING!”

The Emissary nods. “Harmony restored.”

A secret drawer slides open in the box. Inside are three small prizes: a shiny rainbow badge, a tiny water-sparkle pebble, and a star sticker that glows.

“For you,” says the Emissary.

William pins the rainbow badge on his cape. “Thank you!”

Sun Knight clears his throat. “I will guard the colors. Gently.”

William waves. “Friends?”

Sun Knight nods. “Friends.”

In the Elemental Atrium, everything glows again. And William Star Shine shines the happiest of all.
