Beside him stands Plush, his soft toy friend. Plush is a small pink creature with round eyes. Plush can hop in slow moon jumps. Evangelo and Plush love the quiet gray hills. Today they have a special mission on the Moon. They need to collect stardust samples in a little jar. The dust sparkles like tiny stars under the sun. Evangelo holds a small glass jar in his gloved hand. Plush holds a soft rubber scoop in his paw. They walk slowly and look for glowing dust. Evangelo bends down and scoops a handful of fine powder. He tips it gently into the jar. The jar glows with blue and green light. Plush claps soft paws and cheers. Suddenly a tall figure appears behind a small crater. It is the Crystal Guardian of the Moon dust. The Guardian is made of clear shining crystal. It watches them with bright glowing eyes. Plush trembles and holds Evangelo’s leg. We want to study its sparkle and show it to our friends. We will share it and keep it safe. Plush nods and offers the jar to the Guardian. The air is very still and calm. He fills the jar almost to the top. The jar glows like a little sun. Plush jumps happily and giggles. Evangelo thanks the Guardian with both hands. Plush gives a happy jig of joy. The Crystal Guardian waves a clear hand. It steps back and watches them go. Evangelo and Plush walk back to the rocket. The jar holds the treasure safely inside. Inside the rocket, Evangelo places the jar on a soft cushion. He closes the lid and tucks it gently. Plush snuggles next to the jar and yawns. Evangelo buckles into his seat and smiles.
