Kids stories

Isabella the princess wakes in her castle but her dear pink doll is missing. With Princess Rose and a kind sorceress, she searches every hall until her doll is found safe.
Isabella and the Lost Doll

Isabella the princess lives in a shining castle beside a gentle river. Each dawn she wakes and gives her favorite doll a soft hug. The doll is small and pink with a golden ribbon. It is her dear friend. One morning Isabella’s arms feel empty. Her doll is gone. She looks under her bed. She looks behind a chair. She looks on her pillow. She cannot find it. She whispers, “Where are you, little friend?” Her heart feels heavy.

Just then, Princess Rose arrives. Rose is kind and gentle. She wears a sky-blue dress and a warm smile. “I will help,” she says. They hold hands and walk through wide stone corridors. Their footsteps echo on smooth floors. They enter the grand hall. They ask the friendly cook. They ask the tall guard. No one has seen the doll. They feel worried but stay brave.

Suddenly a soft voice floats through the hall. “Hello, little ones.” They look up and see a kind sorceress in a purple robe. She carries something small in her hand. It is a pink doll with a golden ribbon. Isabella’s eyes light up. “My doll!” she cries. The sorceress kneels and offers back the toy. “I found her by the river and kept her safe,” she says. Isabella smiles and thanks her. Rose bows and says, “You are very kind.” The sorceress nods and waves gently.

Together they walk back toward the castle gates. Along the stone path, flowers bend as if to greet them. Birds trill a soft sweet song in the tall trees. Sunlight dances on the river’s ripples. Isabella hums with joy. “My doll is home,” she sings. They pass under an arch of roses and step through the open gate.

Inside the castle courtyard they meet playful friends. A soft gray cat purrs and rubs Isabella’s leg. She laughs and pets its fur. A bright blue bird swoops down and lands on her shoulder. She giggles and lets it perch safely. Far below in the moat, silver fish glide through the cool water. Isabella waves and the fish seem to shimmer in return. Everyone is happy.

As afternoon turns to evening, Isabella sits on a velvet cushion. She holds her doll close and shares a tiny cake with Rose and the sorceress. They taste the sweet crumb and smile. Isabella feels warmth in her heart. She learned that friends help each other and that kindness returns like sunshine after rain.

Later, the castle grows quiet. The river’s voice softens. The moon peeks through wispy clouds. Stars appear one by one, twinkling like distant lanterns. Isabella tucks her doll under her arm. She yawns softly and closes her eyes. In her dreams she sees new adventures: fields of flowers, laughing streams, and friendly faces.

Tomorrow the castle will glow again with golden sunlight. But now, sweet princess and sweet reader, it is time to rest. Good night, sweet dreams and happy hearts. The End.
