Beautiful princess was a fairy. She was small, bright, and kind. She liked to help. She was a little shy, too. Sometimes she whispered instead of spoke.
One sunny morning, she woke in the Spirit Garden. The garden smelled sweet. Soft lights floated like tiny stars.
Flower was there. Flower was a funny little friend. Flower could hop from leaf to leaf. Flower giggled a lot.
Flower said, “Look! The garden is dull.”
Beautiful princess looked around. Many petals were pale. The paths were not shiny.
Beautiful princess held her wand. “I can try,” she said softly.
A cool wind went whoooosh.
From behind a tall crystal bush came the Crystal Guardian. It was big and shiny. It had a serious face.
“Stop,” said the Crystal Guardian. “No glowing here.”
Beautiful princess trembled. Her wings fluttered fast. Flower hid behind her.
Beautiful princess took a slow breath. “Please,” she said. “The Spirit Garden needs its colors.”
The Crystal Guardian tapped the ground. Clink. Clink. “Colors are locked. Find the lost sparkle seeds. Three seeds. Then we talk.”
Flower popped out. “We can do it!” Flower said.
So they went. Step, step, step.
They looked under a mushroom. No seed.
They looked inside a snail shell. Just a tiny echo: hello.
Beautiful princess smiled. “Hello,” she whispered back.
They walked to a pond that looked like glass. A small ripple made a ring.
Flower pointed. “There!”
A sparkle seed sat on a lily pad. It was like a tiny pearl.
Beautiful princess reached. Her hand shook. The lily pad drifted away.
Flower bounced. “I will nudge it!” Flower bumped the pad. Plop! The seed slid close.
Beautiful princess picked it up. “One,” she said.
They went to a tunnel of tall grass. It was dark inside.
Beautiful princess stopped. “It’s a little scary.”
Flower held a leaf like a lantern. “We go together.”
Inside, something glittered. But it was not a seed. It was a crystal bell.
Ding.
The Crystal Guardian’s voice boomed, “That bell is mine.”
Beautiful princess bowed. “We are not taking it. We are finding seeds.”
The bell rolled and showed a small hole in the ground. In the hole was a sparkle seed.
Beautiful princess giggled. “Two.”
Last seed was hard. They searched and searched.
Flower sighed. “Maybe it’s gone.”
Beautiful princess closed her eyes. She listened. She heard a tiny “tink… tink…” like a shy laugh.
She followed the sound to a rose bush. A sparkle seed was stuck on a thorn.
“Ouch,” said Flower.
Beautiful princess was careful. She waved her wand very gently. “Soft, soft,” she whispered.
The thorn let go. The seed floated into her hand.
“Three!” Flower cheered.
They went back to the Crystal Guardian.
Beautiful princess held out the seeds. “We did it.”
The Crystal Guardian looked surprised. “You were brave and gentle,” it said.
It opened its crystal chest. Inside were three tiny jars of rainbow glitter.
“For you,” said the Crystal Guardian. “A real treasure.”
Beautiful princess clapped. Flower danced.
Beautiful princess sprinkled one jar in the air. The Spirit Garden bloomed bright. Pink, gold, and green swirled.
She sprinkled the second jar. The paths shone like moonlight.
She sprinkled the third jar on Flower.
Flower sparkled and laughed, “I am a twinkle-Flower!”
Beautiful princess laughed, louder this time.
The Crystal Guardian nodded. “You may glow here. You earned it.”
In the Spirit Garden, the fairy and Flower sat on a warm stone. They watched the lights float.
Beautiful princess whispered, “Together is best.”
Flower said, “And glitter is best too!”
They both smiled. The garden smiled back.
