Hayes is an explorer. Happy Days is an explorer, too. They are best friends. They love to find new things. Today they go to an amusement park. The park is big and bright. The park is full of fun. Red flags wave in the wind. Blue balloons float high. Green grass feels soft. Soft music plays. Laughing children run by.
Elf is their little friend. Elf has green shoes and a pointy hat. Elf has big ears that listen well. Elf can fly fast. Elf loves glitter and games. Elf bounces with joy. Elf helps Hayes and Happy Days explore.
Hayes, Happy Days, and Elf walk along a wide path. They see a tall Ferris wheel. It spins and lights blink. They see a shiny slide. It is blue and long. They see a carousel with horses. The horses spin round and round. They hear bells and giggles. They smell sweet cotton candy. They taste a sticky sugar treat. They feel happy.
Hayes holds a small bear toy. The bear is brown with a blue bow. The bear is soft. Happy Days holds the bear’s hand. The bear is their special friend. Elf picks up glitter to share. They feel cozy.
Suddenly, Hayes looks around. The bear is gone. Hayes gasps. Happy Days gasps. Elf gasps. Oh no! The bear toy is lost. Hayes says, “We must find Bear!” Happy Days says, “Let’s look everywhere!” Elf says, “I will fly and find Bear!”
They start at the Ferris wheel. They look up and down. They do not see Bear. They go to the slide. They look behind the ladder. No bear. They go to the carousel. They look under the horse. No bear. They pass a game stall and ask a clown, “Have you seen Bear?” The clown shakes his head. Then he says, “Try the bumper cars.” They run to the bumper cars. They look under a red car. They look under a blue car. No bear. They hear water splash. They run to a water fountain. They peek behind the fountain. No bear. They spot a mini train. They climb inside each tiny car. No bear. Finally Elf flies up high. Elf sees a hat on a green bench. Under the hat is Bear! Elf shouts, “I see Bear!” They rush over. They find Bear under the hat.
They cheer, “We found Bear!” They dance. They clap hands. They laugh. They feel proud. They feel brave. They feel strong. They worked together as a team.
A friendly park guard watches. He smiles wide. He gives them a shiny sticker. The sticker is gold with a bright star. Hayes sticks it on his shirt. Happy Days sticks it on a hat. Elf sticks it on a shoe. They shout, “Thank you!” They wave to the guard.
The sun begins to set. Lights glow in the park. Hayes, Happy Days, and Elf sit on a soft bench. They snuggle Bear. They feel warm and safe. They smile at each other. They learned that friends help each other. They learned that sharing work helps everyone. They learned to look with care.
They stand up. They hold hands. They walk to the park exit. They wave to the rides. They wave to the clown. They wave to the guard. The park fades behind them. The sky is pink. The stars peek out. They feel happy. They feel ready for home.
On the way home, Hayes, Happy Days, and Elf sing a soft song. The song is about stars and friendship. They hum the tune as they walk. The moon smiles down. The night feels calm. They hold Bear tight. They feel love all around. They cannot wait for tomorrow’s play. They know fun will return. They know they have each other.
They pass a row of bright tulips. The tulips are red, yellow, and purple. Hayes counts each petal. Happy Days smells the flowers. Elf watches a firefly flicker. The firefly glows softly. They catch the firefly gently in a jar. Then they open the jar and set it free. The firefly flies up to the moon. It glows like a tiny star. They watch it go. They feel calm.
Later at home, they climb into bed. They close their eyes. They dream of the bright park. They see the Ferris wheel in their sleep. They see Bear smiling. They wake with morning light. They stretch and smile. A new day begins full of promise.
The end.
