Jaxxon was an Inventor. Jaxxon was small, but very clever. He lived by the Coral Reef, where the water sparkled and fish swished by.
One morning, Jaxxon said, “Oh no. The reef is too quiet.”
He looked around. The little shells that clicked and clacked were gone.
“The reef needs its shells,” Jaxxon whispered.
A Treasure Hunter swam up. Her name was Mira. She wore a tiny belt with pockets.
Mira grinned. “I find things! Want help?”
Jaxxon nodded. “Yes, please. We must find the lost seashell.”
Jaxxon opened his tool box. It was a bubble box.
He built a small Sea-Searcher. It had a round nose, soft lights, and a crank.
“Turn, turn,” Jaxxon said.
Mira giggled. “Bloop-bloop machine!”
They swam past coral towers. Pink. Orange. Purple.
The Sea-Searcher blinked. Blink. Blink.
Then it pointed to a dark spot under a rock.
A Pirate popped out!
He had a big hat and a grumpy face.
“Arr! No shells for you,” he said.
He hugged a shiny shell close.
Jaxxon felt a little scared. His tummy went flip.
Mira whispered, “We can do it. Team up.”
Jaxxon took a deep breath. “Hello, Pirate. We need that shell.”
The Pirate huffed. “Mine!”
Mira asked, “Why do you want it?”
The Pirate blinked. “It makes a nice sound. I like the click.”
Jaxxon thought fast. Inventor thoughts!
He pulled out two smooth stones and a small coral ring.
He made a Click-Clack Toy.
Click! Clack! Click!
Mira clapped. “That is fun!”
Jaxxon held it out. “You can have this. It clicks too.”
The Pirate listened. His eyebrows lifted.
He tried the toy. Click. Clack.
His grumpy face got softer.
The Pirate slowly held out the shiny shell.
“Trade,” he muttered.
“Trade,” Jaxxon said.
Mira took the shell gently. “Thank you.”
They swam back to the reef.
Jaxxon placed the shell in a safe coral nook.
The reef sounded happy again. Click-click. Soft clack.
Little fish danced around it.
Mira opened her pocket belt. “Treasure time!”
Inside was a tiny pearl, round and bright.
“For you, Jaxxon,” she said.
Jaxxon’s eyes went wide. “A pearl!”
He held it up. It glowed like a small moon.
Jaxxon smiled. “I can invent more Sea-Searchers. And more toys.”
Mira smiled back. “And I can find more treasure!”
Even the Pirate, far away, played with the Click-Clack Toy.
The Coral Reef sparkled. Jaxxon felt brave, clever, and very proud.
